All major sights of interest are easily accessible by subway. The Wangfujing Shopping area is within 5 minutes’ walk. We stayed 4 nights and still have many places near and far that we’d like to explore next time we stay in this hotel. "

"The stay at Fairmont Beijing exceeded our expectations. The room was really big (over 40 sqm) with a super king size bed, massive windows, a sofa bed, armchair, coffee table, a great massage chair, a working table and 2 extra chairs. We had a coffee machine and a kettle with plenty of Voss water, abundantly replenished daily. The bathroom was massive, with a bathtub, shower room with 3 settings and two sinks. The toilet seat had seat heating and cleaning functions. Plus there was a dressing room...

"A little hard to find as 161 is not the street number (it is #43 I think) in a very narrow alley but great location and very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Honey wanted to see some live music and they recommended School which was fun! Breakfast was just OK but overall was enjoyable and wish we could have stayed longer."
