"Was the perfect place to stay for a group of 4 all being able to have our own bed in the same room! Room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was lovely. Pillows and beds etc were super comfy. The staff were so accommodating and let us go in the hot tub even though we arrived quite late in the evening. They do turn the temp down though so it was a bit cooler than usual but we still appreciated it! Breakfast was nice and made fresh to everyone’s taste and what they wanted. Was walking distance for us to do all the bits we wanted to in the centre of York. Would definitely recommend and stay again! "

"Great stay! We actually stayed 2 weeks after traveling for over 4 months. My husband, dog and I enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable. Housekeeping stuff were all very nice. Options for food next door and the hotel bar has some snacks and beverages. Not a bad drive to Wetherby and York. We took Ubers. We’d stay again. "

"Secure cheap parking, breakfast was lovely as were the waiting staff. Room was clean tidy and spacious. Receptionist's we spoke to 3 different ones and all were friendly and welcoming In an ideal spot very close to the Cathedral and the shambles. Would definitely return."
