"A lovely location, lodges have a large living space, kitchen is well kitted out and the bedrooms are a very good size. Hot tub was clean and a good extra for each lodge. The lodges do look a little tired inside, some new furniture would certainly enhance the look and comfort. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay."

"Very spacious and clean. Nicely decored and homely. Everything you need is there and the host is very good and responsive to queries. The lodge is situated on a nice quiet camp site and has its own single carspace right outside. Basic toiletries (soap and showergel) were provided as were towels and bedding. tea, coffee and sugar were also there and the host provided a small pint of milk and a small pack of biscuits on arrival. "Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. "Overall the hotel was nice with a comfortable room and’s beds and great shower! We could have used a mini fridge but there were none. The lack of AC was a challenge as we stated in July and the temp was quite hotel at night, even with the windows open. No fans available either. The staff was very nice and kindly let is check out later which was really helpful."
