Modern restaurant with olde hotel attached. Windy, crooked stairs to small, adequate room. Unique back, night entry with small door in the bigger door (you'll have to try it).
Slept well. Ate well. Nice people. Cute town to wander if you bundle up

What a great place, full of character. Helpful friendly staff. Beautiful view of the river. Walk to Salisbury Cathedral. Historic building—highly recommended!

the room was very comfortable had everything you could ever need. Jan and mark welcomed us into their home for breakfast every day very patient as we were late risers. They went way beyond normal hospitality drove us to the beginning of the water meadow walk in Salisbury and wrote out the. route for a drive through the new forest. We were staying for 5 nights wished it was longer as we were made to feel at home immediately on arrival. If only all holiday owners were like them. There was a bus...

We had a good stay. The staff was reluctant to serve us dinner because they had other bookings - which was a bit strange - we wound up at a nearby Italian restaurant.

What a beautiful and convenient place to stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The property was well kept, the grounds lovely, the food delicious and the rooms comfortable and spacious. Parking was convenient. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent location close to the Cathedral, restaurants and shops. We were in a "privilege room" and we couldn't have asked for more. Didn't see a "regular" room, so can't speak to their condition or amenities. Top-notch breakfast, too.

New carpet, very clean room, thoughtful decorations. It is a few miles out of Salisbury and kind of on its own, but host directed us to a great pub, The Lambs Inn, 10 minutes away in a beautiful country setting called Nomansland. Full English Breakfast (extra) was wonderful and also included the continental fare as much as you like.
