"The first night was rough. The city cut off electricity the first night so no a/c that night and hot water in the morning. Lots of noise from the patrons moving furniture and hanging out til 3am. Couldn’t get a hold of the front desk to complain but they were likely dealing with the electrical issues. I thought I was done with The Anza but the following four days were great. Electricity back and the loud patrons upstairs checked out. We will be back. The beds are comfortable and the location is nice for us."

"Staff is very efficient with the check in process, less than 1 minute. The room and bathroom are VERY clean. Breakfast is great for an hotel of this class. And there are plenty of parking too. This is the best hotel I have stayed at during all my personal travels in the last 30 years."

"What we loved were the beds as they are very comfortable and the size of the rooms with nice big bathrooms. The staff are absolutely wonderful and so helpful from room cleaning to adding extra towels or toiletries or advice on where to go to eat and local interesting places."

"The room was spotless, and the staff was incredibly polite. But when we checked in at 10:30 PM, we ran into a big problem. As soon as we opened the door, you could feel the heat escaping the room. It was unbearably hot, and the window was locked, so there was no way to let in some fresh air. It would be really helpful if the hotel could make sure the air conditioning is working before guests arrive, even if it’s just set to 78°F. This would help cool the room down faster and stop it from being too hot to sleep in until 1 AM."
