"The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful. Our private onsen was something out of a movie. And it’s a superb place for kids — many fun little treats everywhere. Very much recommend. However, if your kid is an adventurous eater, make sure they do not serve them the kids meal Kaiseki. It is definitely subpar fast food level. Pre-order the adult version because you can’t change on the spot."

"Staff were lovely, room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was small but worked 3 pastries a person a salad and yogurt. Just be aware we booked the "Japanese style Superior room" and there is no shower in this room you have to use the public bath. This was not an issue for us but I feel is good information when picking. Also enjoyed the Spa Hotel up the hill. "
