"My wife and I had been in 2019 for a friends daughters wedding. We are so very glad we chose to try The Gives Beach again. Front end check in … Ellen was excellent. The Lizard was a great healthy starter meal after a long morning travel. Other staff who were excellent. …..Janet at the beach and pool, Guillermo at the Thai/Sushi restaurant, Margot and Giselle at the spa (amazing) Fatima and Wendy at Casa de Rosa are an experience you can’t miss, and our favorite Rosalinda at the buffet for breakfast and lunch was the Star. She exceeded any request we had, every time, with her amazing smile. I guess you can tell we love the staff. Don’t forget the grounds and pools are very very well kept by teams of hardworking pros. Food quality was on point with good variety. Had to get used to no reservations but that’s such a small thing. To sum it up we’re huge fans and will without a doubt be back. If you have the chance to spend time at The Fines Beach …. Book it !!!!!"

"Beautiful location, the beach huts were lovely. Overall a wonderful stay. Occasionally felt the staff were quite judgemental about how limited our Spanish is. Drinks and food are very expensive. Worth heading to other locations for drinks and diner."

"We spent a week here and it exceeded expectations. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, and the staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. Our room was spotless every day thanks to great daily housekeeping. Food: A real highlight of the resort. Food was available 24 hours, and both the breakfast and lunch buffets were fabulous. Evening à la carte dining was even better — the restaurant selection is impressively diverse, spanning Italian, Brazilian, Mexican, and more. Just keep in mind dinner reservations need to be booked a few hours to a day ahead, and there’s a mildly formal dress code in the evenings, so plan accordingly. Activities & Pools: Excellent activities for kids, and the pools were phenomenal — a definite highlight for our family. Beach: Beautiful, though sargassum caused some odor in the afternoons. Mornings were much better for beach time. Getting Around: Intra-resort transportation was great, making it easy to get everywhere on the property. A few suggestions: The diet beverage selection through out the resort was limited to just Diet Coke — broadening this would be appreciated. Also, desserts leaned mostly continental, with Mexican specialties like churros offered only once a week; more regular options like tres leches would be a nice touch given the resort’s location. Overall: A phenomenal stay — we’d absolutely return in the future. Highly recommend for families."

"We really enjoyed the resort. This resort is not your typical place. Since it is an eco resort the whole place is even more enjoyable. The wildlife and monkeys were a favorite for sure. Getting the adult only section was a great choice. Although, we enjoyed it so much we want to bring the kids next time."

"Just WOW!! Book this place!! Extraordinary food and service and accommodations!! Excellent service by ALL personnel that we have never experienced! Just a spectacular place that is a hidden gem!! You are in your own world here and you never want to leave!!! From the villas to the food and atmosphere you experience you will be blown away... Everything you could think of is anticipated and taken care of for you!! Was the only vacation ever that I felt refreshed when I got home!! Great job to all the staff who was amazing and made us feel like family!!"
