The Fives Beach Hotel - Á la Carte All Inclusive

"It’s about a 45 min drive to the property. There’s a police checkpoint along the way and then there a security check off the driver and passengers at the entrance to the property. Once at the lobby, you’re greeted with an ice cold drink. Check in was swift and easy and then we were driven to our suite which was in villa #20 about a 3 min drive. The suite looked immaculate but we found that the floors were dirty after my husband walked around barefooted . Outside of that, it was a lovely space with a kitchen, living room, a large bedroom with doors that closed off from the rest of the suite and two balconies We witnessed the wildlife right under our balcony, monkey looking animals, turtles swimming in the pond below , lizards, and birds. The grounds are beautiful, lush and green with vegetation The staff were incredible. Friendly, polite and very helpful. Extremely attentive at the various restaurants, getting everyone with a smile Breakfast was a culinary delight daily. Omelette made fresh in front of you with any ingredients that you desire, pastries, cereal, fruit, bacon, sausages, pancakes, waffles, etc. I ate at only one restaurant, la Brassiere. Try the salmon, so good, shrimp was excellent too. I heard the Thai restaurant and the Jamaican restaurant were equally as good Sunday night was a celebration of Mexican culture and . We really enjoyed that I would definitely go again Ps: we did find a roach in our room hanging off the curtains."

"Amazing food. They did a lot of upgrades since we were there in 2022. They have a delicious coffee shop and the food is amazing. Restaurant quality food. This is our 2nd time coming back. Worth it every time. Excursions were also amazing!! I wish the pools were open a bit later, They close at 8pm. Highly recommend!"

"Ficamos no hotel do dia 21/8 ao 25/8. Esse hotel nos impressionou positivamente!! É impressionante a areia em frente as cabanas, a vibe das redes, o conforto da cabana. Estávamos em 4 pessoas e reservei o quarto com 3 camas, a terceira cama fica no mezanino, e meu filho adorou. O restaurante tem um café da manhã delicioso, e o jantar que já comprei na reserva é muito bem elaborado. Passamos muito bem estes dias. O que não ajudou foi a praia que estava com sargaço, mas o próprio staff do hotel limpava diariamente a areia. O hotel tem uma vibe romântica, calma e rústica. E apesar de ser na areia, e muito arborizado, não vimos aranhas, nem moscas, nem insetos no geral. Por ser cabana inicialmente fiquei com medo de encontrar paranhos, mas a limpeza é ótima. É próximo tanto de Cancún quanto de tulum, o centrinho de playa está super próximo, e como estávamos com carro alugado nossa logística foi ótima!"

"We spent a week here and it exceeded expectations. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, and the staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. Our room was spotless every day thanks to great daily housekeeping. Food: A real highlight of the resort. Food was available 24 hours, and both the breakfast and lunch buffets were fabulous. Evening à la carte dining was even better — the restaurant selection is impressively diverse, spanning Italian, Brazilian, Mexican, and more. Just keep in mind dinner reservations need to be booked a few hours to a day ahead, and there’s a mildly formal dress code in the evenings, so plan accordingly. Activities & Pools: Excellent activities for kids, and the pools were phenomenal — a definite highlight for our family. Beach: Beautiful, though sargassum caused some odor in the afternoons. Mornings were much better for beach time. Getting Around: Intra-resort transportation was great, making it easy to get everywhere on the property. A few suggestions: The diet beverage selection through out the resort was limited to just Diet Coke — broadening this would be appreciated. Also, desserts leaned mostly continental, with Mexican specialties like churros offered only once a week; more regular options like tres leches would be a nice touch given the resort’s location. Overall: A phenomenal stay — we’d absolutely return in the future. Highly recommend for families."
