"We had the most incredible stay at The Queen's View for so many reasons. On the way to the B&B, there was an accident in the middle of Linlithgow cutting off all traffic through the town and I had no idea how to get through to the B&B. Without needing to call, Catriona messaged us with directions helping us get around the traffic and saved an extended argument in the car! "We stayed here a few nights to visit Edinburgh in festival month. The owner is very welcoming and friendly; but the standard is disappointing by today's standards. A dog seemed to have stayed in the room before us (she takes pets) which needed more thorough airing and cleaning. The room had a slightly tired feeling. The setting is lovely and it is handy for Edinburgh - 30 mins by car and a good train service from nearby Linlithgow."

"Great family run place with nice rooms and a covenient location. This place is great if you're renting a car or not. It's right by the train station that goes to either Glasgow or Edinburgh, but in a small-town area so that if you have a rental car, it's easy to manage. Lots of sights to see nearby. Great Scottish breakfast on request! Nicola is an excellent cook."

"The room was far too hot. There was a dog whining/ whelping through the night. The bathmat slipped from under me when getting out of the bath. There is no reception or phone in the room to request anything. I do not want anyone moving my belongings around when I am out of the room. No breakfast included but you can pay an extra £28.00 for it."

"The property is very old which I was okay with but they really need to do some updates. I love that the building is 200 years old but it hasn't seen any updates for the past 100. I won't complain about the odor because of the buildings age but they could try and use some febreeze outlets or something. The beds are not comfy at all and the room we stayed in (rm 4) was a lot like this bootcamp room I had to live in as a teen, just saying. They had wifi but it only worked on the first floor and all...
