"A superb stay, very smart hotel. Incredibly convenient for me and my work. A pity about the loud guests next door (had to bang on the wall a few times to shut them up at 11pm) - not the fault of the hotel but desperately frustrating. Otherwise clean with good amenities. Housekeeping switched over the slightly smelly towels in my room (again I suspect a one-off). Would definitely stay again. Very pleased with the overall product. Superb value for prime London location. "

"Lovely old inn located ideally for Harry Potter World and LEGOLAND. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, breakfast was delicious, we stayed for 3 nights and ate in the restaurant. Only slight recommendation for improvement would be that the menu for evening meals could offer a little more choice when staying more than one night. Our room was huge and we would definitely stay again. "

"Great find at a reasonable price compared to many others in London. Great transport links as less than a 5 minute walk to the Mile End tube station. Lovely staff on arrival who gave a very warm welcome. It isn’t a fully manned 24 hour reception though so be wary if that’s what you need. Pleasantly surprised by the triple room. "Loved our time here. The lication is great, the pub below is quiet and the room was cozy. The building itself is such a lovely example of 18th century architecture- with its whimsicle turns and uneven floors. And the breakfast was delicious! However, the true stars of the place are the people that work there. Every person we engaged with went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was both pleasant and comfortable. We will definitely return!"

"Lovely old pub with character, friendly staff and locals. Stayed 1 night with my son for rugby. Twickenham 10min walk. Was given a permit to park on the road for free and found a space 50m away. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and staff very nice, especially the Ukrainian lady who served breakfast. Very polite and efficient."
