This was our first night in our UK trip and was arguably the best place we could stay to introduce us to this country. Our room was small but the stone walls and lovely decor made it feel simultaneously rustic and contemporary. The bathroom was well designed and had a wonderful shower that was just what we needed after 15 hours of travel. The bed was a dream, I haven’t slept that well in a long time. Decor is nice and furnishings luxurious. Fresh milk in the fridge for the Nespresso maker and a bottle of water! Comfy bed and spacious room and large bathroom.

We were traveling up to Northern Wales and needed and affordable safe spot to sleep. This was truly perfect. Easy to get to, quiet, and super quick check in. We’re going to book again as we have to do the same drive in a few months!

Stayed here attending a wedding. Checked us in early which was fabulous. Staff very friendly and attentive, food was really nice. Leisure facilities great and very nice breakfast, good quality and plentiful.

Cozy quiet rooms. Hot clean showers. Slept like a log. Easy access to venue down the road. Lovely cozy bar and restaurant area. Friendly staff.

The rooms were spacious, charmingly decorated, and clean. The staff could not do enough for us, even postponing a scheduled fire drill because we told the breakfast staff I was planning on taking a jet lag nap before going out to explore the countryside. Meals were absolutely delicious with a great take on traditional favourites. A must stay!

My family of four stayed in this lovely inn at the end of December 2015. We were looking for a place to stay between attending a Manchester United Football game and visiting the English countryside. This location was perfect! It allowed us to stay out of the city in a more relaxed and less commercial inn, so that we could truly get a feel for the area. Had a little problem with the toilet but the staff said they would be quick to fix it. Other than that our stay was great. The food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Great property, reasonably priced, comfortable and clean room. Kitchenette was great and the bathroom was lovely. I found the bed to be incredibly comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choices, and allergens were labeled for all items; separate space for gluten-free items. Laundry room was good, small washers & dryers that were serviceable and free for guests (byo detergent), and much appreciated. Staff were all polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely pleasant. Great overnight stay for us. Dinner was amazing and so was breakfast. Made our "Favorites" list (only 2/2 in all of the UK).
