A business trip with a few days of sightseeing. Wonderful area to explore. Food and shopping was great, the people were warm and friendly. Very hot and tropical, but managed to keep cool by the beautiful pool at the Colony Hotel.

We have just returned from Bali our 5th visit to the beautiful Island. The villa we stayed in was lovely and spacious with all the facilities needed . What makes Villa Asri special are the staff , who are outstanding and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble , they made all our restaurant reservations and arranged taxi's for us when needed. We had a great experience at Ametis. Our experience included shuttle pick-up and drop-off which make transportation easy. The room was beautiful and exceeded our expectations, it was truly picturesque like from a movie. The villa was very spacious. From the moment we checked in to our last minute at the Balé, it was all first class. Staff at restaurant (faces) are people we would now consider family as they treated us as such. Very clean, GREAT staff

We stayed a week for our 25th anniversary. Perfect for that occasion. It would be inappropriate with children, infirm or elderly - stone stairs to anywhere, lots of quiet, mostly honeymooners. This hotel is situated along a stretch of road where there are the best food and drink options and just a 10 minute walk to the city center where the market is. Great shopping lines the street so it's always a nice stroll otherwise thet will shuttle you for free. The hotel staff is THE FRIENDLIEST we have met in all of Bali. The most amazing place i have ever visited. The staff is soooo friendly. The food delicious. Wvery night tgey have live music. The pool is unmatched. The view is incredible. You feel transported to another world and never want to leave. Be sure to attend a yoga class and if you are lucky enough to get a private villa (there are only 18 of them)have them decorate it with real flowers for your special occasion. There is nothing you won't love about this resort.

This place was a dream, the staff is so friendly and the rooms are beautiful. I felt extremely safe being a woman of color on my first solo trip! The staff treats you like family .. definitely will be back here again.
