"Fantastic location very close to Wembley stadium and train/tube station, very easy check in/out, deposit was refunded quickly. Reception area clean and tidy staff were friendly. Lift was rickety with the doors shaking as it went up and down but it was bright and clean. Carpets in the corridors tired and stained. The room was large and spacious air con was great and can be changed in the room although it resets back to the default setting when you leave the room for a while, room was clean apart from the stained carpet, bed and pillows were really comfortable, plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe, also a mini fridge and a safe which was handy although the fridge was quite noisy, room was well sound proofed could not hear much from outside which was great as the hotel was full of football fans but it did also make the sound of the fridge seem louder. Tea and coffee selection was ok, 3 types of tea bags and normal and decaf coffee but only 2 of each and only 4 milk pots. We had no spoon so had to go to reception to get one. A bit disappointing that we went to have a drink in the bar downstairs at 8pm only to find it closed! Which we found a bit strange."

"The beer garden of the pub below was nice, and it works if you just need somewhere to sleep as it is a very small room. Not very clean. "

"Hotel was fine, however some dubious practices by the hotel. We booked 3 rooms last July to be paid on arrival as 6 of us all paying separately. 2 hours before check-in the owner sends an email saying payment couldn’t be taken, despite the booking being for cash at check in. I ring them and he says they’ve cancelled all rooms and one has already been resold. He then offers us the other two rooms but adds £50 per room and even had the cheek to say we’d got a good deal when we’d originally booked. I’m guessing he missed the weekend being marathon and cup games at Wembley and wanted to get more money for the rooms. Disgusting behaviour considering we had travelled to London and had no choice but to pay the extra charge. Be careful when you book with this one, especially if you manage to get a good deal as they’ll look for a way to make more money out of you. "
