"The staff is kind and clean the room everyday!"

"I give this place a 10/10! After going to 4 different resorts in Punta Cana I believe my family found the perfect resort to plan our yearly family trip! I fell in love from the moment we arrived until the moment we left! I have zero complaints whatsoever. We were a group of 13 people and not one of us had a complaint! We received a VIP room, but VIP or not you still have access to everything and everywhere on the property! We enjoyed the beach, the pools, the waterpark, the 5 restaurants...

"Staff was great. A couple of things were under construction like the lazy river. Overall I’d come back here."

"The staff was sweet but this was definitely my least breathless."

"We had an amazing stay, everything was streamlined and easy to understand and access so we were able to relax."

"I adored this resort honestly. I was just not super happy with the quality, temperature and options of food at the buffet. I don't eat pork or beef and that was 95% of the protein their and food was always cold despite the tine of eating. But other than that, it was amazing."

"one of the room we received had a very bad smell, back home now and all the luggage and the clothing even the clean once have that smell, food is not very good it is oaky but for that level of a resort we expect more"

"The staff were kind and the room service was helpful. However, the food quality is well below acceptable. Most items are days old, and there is a considerable fly problem."

"This is my 3rd time staying at the property and I have seen how maintenance has degraded and staff happiness is not the same. Still a good place, but not what it use to be."

"Riu república necesita arreglar la piscina tiene muchas lozas rotas es un peligro y los platos para comer sucios. Ahora los empleados especialmente en la piscina Jonathan un gran y caballeroso empleado con todas las personas ❤️ lo demás muy bueno."

"I’ll start off by saying that check-in was a complete disaster. My family and I waited an entire hour just to get checked in. After completing check-in, we were stopped by the concierge, who spoke with us before we were finally able to make our way to our room. Unfortunately, our experience has been very uncomfortable. The staff have been making us feel unwelcome through their side-eyes, stares, and the way they speak about us in their language while we’re around. Based on their behavior, we...

"The property is vast in size but easy to access eateries and amenities. The hotel is well maintained and staff is are constantly cleaning. There are plenty of bars throughout the property. The restaurants are adequate, but much of the food was cold in the buffet or didn’t have great taste. But food choice is different for everyone. The hours of operation for each restaurant and making reservations is a bit difficult. The restaurants were on a rotation and open every other day. The serving staff...

"Bring multiple bottles of bug spray, the mosquitoes are on steroids. My poor wife has to have over 100 bites on each one of her legs. She can’t sleep at night bc she is so itchy, I wish somebody would’ve told me before we went here how bad the mosquitoes are, the other part I did not like is the beach was closed the entire nine days we were here. we went on an excursion and from talking to other people their beaches were open. I don’t understand why ours was closed. You fly all this way to come...

"Love the people and the facilities. Will return. Just do not fall for 90 minute conversation about buying into Hyatt. It took over THREE hours. Wouldn't take no for an answer! Get the butler service!"
