"Overall, I still had a positive impression of the staff despite an unfortunate experience during my stay. After 1:00 a.m., I was unable to sleep because of loud music coming from somewhere nearby and a strong marijuana smell that was coming into my room. I initially tried calling the front desk, but unfortunately no one answered. I then went downstairs to report the issue. When the problem was not resolved right away, I returned to the front desk, and the staff ultimately moved me to another room. They were apologetic and made a genuine effort to help, and they also removed the $9 parking charge as a gesture of apology. While the situation itself was definitely unpleasant and disrupted my sleep, I appreciated how the front desk staff handled it once I spoke with them in person. Things do not always go perfectly at a hotel, but good service is often about how problems are handled. In that regard, I felt the staff did their best to make things right, and I appreciate their assistance."
