"There is an air of faded glamour about the Orton Hall Hotel, the facilities were clean and the staff lovely. Breakfast very good"

"The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area with plenty of parking, which was a big advantage. However, the overall facilities are quite dated and clearly need refurbishment. The room looked reasonably clean at first, but I found an empty biscuit wrapper from a previous guest underneath the bed. The toilet and bathroom are separate, which is useful for families, but there was not even a hook inside the toilet. The TV was very small and the volume remained very low even at the maximum...

"Decent room and bed. Nice view of pitch"

"The room especially the bed was very dirty. There was nobody at reception whenever we came in, and if we needed something it was usually a 20 minute or longer wait. We ended up running around the building to find the reception staff."

"Nice welcome easy check-in - clean room - nice bar good service good atmosphere"

"Nice place to take the kids"

"Convenient, but a bit noisy and very basic."

"Breakfast was nice parking was good staff was excellent only one thing I did not like was the sofa bed with spring mattress it was hurting my back."
