"This is such a wonderful hotel, right in the centre of old town, close to everything lovely in Porto. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the square and had a great view of the river and the opposite side of town. The bed was so comfortable. The hotel provides complimentary Portuguese tarts and port for guests in the lobby, such a nice touch. Breakfast was well presented and tasty. The hotel staff were all so lovely. "Hotel is in desperate need of a FULL renovation, rooms are small and almost none amenities, breakfast was poor and served in a box. We stayed at room 305, the door dint close completely and we can see the light from the hallway it was disturbing to sleep. If you want to charge your mobile devices there was only one electric plug. No AC and during a hot summer night it was hard to sleep. Basically the only good thing is the location."
