Poor paint, cracking walls, and the floors badly need refinishing. The room had dated decor, and there was a strange sliding door to the bathroom, which did not totally cover the doorway. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, rustic house high above the Bagna di Lucca valley. Charming bedrooms and bathroom on the top floor, comfortable spacious living room on first floor and huge well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor (worthy of a castle!) with doors leading onto the sunny terrace, perfect for dining and relaxing. Lovely views over the valley from all floors. Many thanks to Kevan, our helpful and friendly host. We would love to return."

"Comfortable apartment in a quiet and convenient area of Lucca central. Easy to get everywhere on foot with many great restaurants and sights close by. The hosts were so friendly and helpful but also very patient as our train was cancelled and we arrived later than we expected. Everyone felt at home in the apartment and cooked many meals there and just relaxed after a busy day walking around the city. Highly recommend this place to stay in beautiful Lucca. Grazie Mille!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay, right from the start we where made welcome. The surrounding views at the pool are excellent. The apartment is exactly as described and we found it nice and cool. The rear exit door to the road was an advantage for getting to the supermarket and for walks. Plenty of nice villages around to explore within walking or short drives. "A fabulous, family villa, spotlessly clean and great amenities. The garden is stunning, well manicured with beautiful views of the Tuscan hills.
