"Nice hotel to stay for Matera"

"We had a wonderful stay at Cave Aquatica Hotel in Matera! While there’s no on-site parking (common in Matera), the hotel directed us to a nearby lot and arranged transport—Antonio, our driver, was fantastic. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and even making dinner reservations for us. The location is very central, perfect for exploring the Sassi. We were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade—absolutely stunning and well equipped. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"Unique Experience in Matera! A real adventure—sleeping in a beautiful cave room was unforgettable! The breakfast was fantastic, and the people were so kind and friendly. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the design of the room kept the history alive. Plenty of great restaurants around, all within walking distance. We would love to come back again!"

"Wonderful room in a cave. Simple, but beautiful, and made you feel part of the history. Location was right off the main strip near the Santa Maria Church. Breakfast was varied and good. Many restaurants to choose from. Staff was attentive and helpful. Price was a bit high, but worth it. Nice stay."
