"I was offered an upgrade from a classic double to a feature double (for an extra £30pn) which I took. It was in the old part of the hotel. The room was very cold as the radiators were not working. I enquired at reception and was told that they would speak to someone to see if it could be sorted. A little while later an electric heater was delivered to the room which did not work and another was requested. This only managed to heat the bedroom while the bathroom remained cold. The window next to...

"I class this hotel as a work in progress, however having since read other reviews it seems to have been for a long time. Positives - The hotel is close to Telford & the guy on reception was 10/10,helpful & friendly. We lacked toiletries and requested 2 extra pillows. Both provided instantly. Nice quiet location. Negatives (and i hate doing this as the staff were great) - floor full of dog hair (room didnt smell), 2 small beds put together on a very uncomfortable matress. The shower head would...

"If you need a place in Crewe stay here."

"The room was basic and dated. Bathroom was very dated and grubby. Sheets were clean but things like the kettle were poorly situated in front of the tv on a narrow table too far from the plug. Lamps and curtains and such were very dated. Place was like a rabbit warren and very difficult to navigate. Hardly any parking spaces given the number of rooms and long walk back to car. Wasn’t informed of key pad access numbers to get back on at check in so had to walk all the way back to reception and all...

"The location was great, right in the centre of town,10 mins walk from train station. Staff very friendly and helpful with bag storage until check in. Room was nice ,very clean and comfortable bed,tea and coffee and biscuits provided. Unfortunately though we had little sleep as the noise levels from bar/outside rooftop garden ( same level as room) was extremely loud ,the bar closes at midnight and the noise continued til 1am and we could not sleep after that. So for that reason only we would not...

"The property is unique stairs are narrow but there is a lift. Breakfasts are good but what a performance to pay for them.Breakfasts should be included in price like most establishments.Nice touch to offer a free drink in exchange for not servicing room."

"Excellent value for money, very spacious property suitable for up to four adults."

"Paid for parking. No remote control and when 2 were found I found out it's because you couldn't get a picture. No milk for tea. Bed was clean but surfaces marked and dusty (a big problem as I have a dust allergy). Like warm tap water not hot enough for a shower. Bar closed and breakfast wasn't available."
