Amazing staff and very clean

Stayed in the Tower D in a one bedroom suite on the second floor. Very comfortable and spacious. They have all the comforts of home like dishes, plates and silverware but don't have salt and pepper and shampoo so if you need those while you are there, you can pick them up from the little market they have on the property. This condo is about a 35 minute drive from the airport and about 20 minutes from the silver strand with shops. There really isn't anything within walking distance from this...

Took my son to El Cid for vacation and what a great time! Went fishing with one of the fishing fleets that El Cid offers at the hotel. 185lbs Marlin, 140 Sail Fish, and 4 Dorados (mahi mahi) the first 3 hours at sea. My son enjoyed every minute of relaxation by the pool and the cabanas at the beach. The price was so low and I would have paid double knowing how nice it was. I will be back!!

Bedboy Damian was great giving us advice of where to go and how to explore the town on a low budget. It has great staff and food am-zing and affordable at Los gustos del muchacho. If you want to eat good and have Banda playing I recommend el muchacho alegre and pata salada. Mazatlán 10/10 just make sure you use the green bus and you are good to travel around the safe tourism spots.

Loved the location, easy to walk to many restaurants, which were all good. Lunch at the bar was excellent - best shrimp cocktail I've had! Staff was friendly, were very helpful, even with the language barrier. Their English was better than our Spanish! Beautiful pool area, beach is right in front of you, so very convenient. Rooms were spacious (1 bdrm suite). Could have used drying towel for dishes, faceclothes in the bathroom area, more comfortable chairs. But these are just minor -...

The kids had so much fun. Food was good. But I do recommend the food at La Gruta in El Cid Morro. The best bartender is Ramon.

We really liked that the Hotel was on the beach with a great view of the ocean. Not keen about the pressure of the sales people to see their timeshare pitch. It is very convenient to catch a ride or walk anywhere for meals or stay on property. Beautiful Pool.
