"Cute hotel at the end of a private drive. We had room 201 and shared with friends of ours. The room was very tidy and spacious, with a lovely balcony with great views. Yes, the bathroom smelled like sulfur but it's common in Iceland with hot water. The common area was very spacious and was a great place to hang out. We loved the breakfast served in the morning, which was just enough fuel for the start of the day. Unlimited access to coffee and cookies was also a delight throughout our stay. We...

"We were here in October 2017. Hotel was nice, had a shared kitchen that we didn't use. Can walk to a few restaurants nearby. There was a hot tub that was shared as well. We only stayed one night so we didn't try it out. It was a little difficult to find the place, and once we did we weren't sure about the parking situation. But we figured it out. The place was nice and clean. Would stay here again."

"Little far out from the town, but if you bring your food or drive into the town (20 minutes) it is easy to get food. The hot tub was nice and the space was clean "

"Nice, spacious, clean rooms with great mountain and sea views. This is my second time staying here. Close proximity to Vik but not walkable to town. There’s a pretty good restaurant and bar on site but a few other good dining options in Vik just a short drive (less than 10 minutes) away. Continental style breakfast was included and it was excellent, there was so much variety. Also loved the lounge areas in the lobby, it’s really cute and cozy for hanging out!"

"The hotel is secluded which I like but there were no food options unless you drove for 10-15 minutes. The room was unbearably hot. We slept with the balcony doors open as we could not cool the room with the thermostat. "

"Loved our stay at guesthouse Bjarney. Awesome hosts, super nice. Out of all the hotels we stayed in (4 total), this was our favorite in Iceland. Super clean, free parking, spacious room, great hosts. Please do note that the hosts live in the guesthouse as well, we thought that would be awkward at first but it wasn't. The hosts are super nice, they let us use their jacuzi and sauna. Would recommend!"
