Romantic Hotels in Southern Region from AED 1,299

My husband, daughter (20), and I stayed at The Garage for 2 nights (April 30-May 2). This is one of my favorite places we have ever stayed! If you plan to stay overnight in south Iceland do not miss this gem. The location is close to all the sights and activities, but the Garage is so comfortable and charming you might not want to leave the property! Cool decor and design, large and comfortable room, great amenities, and a wonderful family that owns/operates the Garage makes this a unique spot....

This property is somewhat remote for some people, but we LOVED it! Location was central between our destinations. Everything was available and seemed quite new. Has a fridge, dishwasher, fabulous shower, stove, and oven. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. We loved staying here and hope others will choose to do the same!

We absolutely loved staying here. The location of the house was perfect for driving the Golden Circle. And we loved sitting in the hot tub looking for Northern Lights and star gazing. Also loved all of the oversized windows and mountain backdrop. Home and beds were warm and comfy! Perfect for our family! We wish we could stayed longer. Thank you so much! God bless!

This was our second visit to this property and it was just as great! We love the location and everything about this cottage is perfect. It’s so serene and the scenery is amazing. We will be back again!

Great location, right across from the Geysirs and 10 minutes to Gullfoss waterfall. The room was spacious. Hotel common area was lovely and quiet. The only negative was the room was warm (no AC and no fan); the only solution is to turn the heat off and open the door (but there are quite a bit of insects in the area). At the hotel restaurant we ordered the chicken wings (very good), lamb chops (good), hamburger (odd).

Loved my stay. I was only there for the weekend but its close enough to things I wanted to see on the southern coast of Iceland. Would definitely stay here in the future.

We loved our stay at Magma. It's a beautiful property with lovely rooms and restaurant. Breakfast was fairly standard but the beautiful dining room made it even better. The location is great for a south coast road trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous inn and location, great staff, excellent food and service. On site spa was a bonus! Highly recommend staying here, just wish we had longer.

Just amazing. We saw northern lights

Kristinn, the host was amazing. We simply asked for a later check out and she gave us an additional 2 hours, no problem. Place was adorable, hot-tubs were hot, plenty of parking for us all.

Askot Cottages are beyond phenomenal! Our best stay in Iceland. The cottage design is thoughtful and purposeful. Every little detail adds to the comfort and experience for the guest. The instructions are presented in a beautifully designed booklet that was clear and complete. All the amenities were stocked and high quality. I wish every place I stayed could be this perfect! This is one of those hotels that you will want to stay forever. The location is unique, where you will have not matter which room an amazing view. I think the mountains views are the best! The service always impeccable. Rooms are spacious, not too much closets tho, but very modern. Breakfast was the best!!! You need to remember that this hotel is not near any big city, so if you want quietness and no city lights at night, this is your place. They have a restaurant but we didn’t eat there because...
