The location was excellent in the heart of the city. The only issue we had was the air cond/heater. It didnt work; however, when we called, they came went into the roof in the room and the heat came on. Everything else was excellent.

Good stay overall. Parking was difficult and off site and no where to leave luggage. Otherwise once inside, very comfortable

Having taken 6 week each travel vacations in Spain & Portugal for the last 6 years, This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in. Not fanciest, not the largest room, but the best designed. The room was sized perfectly with a balcony over the street. The bed was comfortable with great pillows. (Finding great pillows in Spain is not as easy as it sounds, no matter what you pay). Perfect stay, location, value for the money.

Front desk was amazing-- they made our stay really special by accommodating our early checkin and taking care of all of our needs. Rooftop bar was also great! Only negative feedback is that the room could have been cleaner (as there were some bits of broken glass on the floor near our mini bar)

The staff were so warm and accommodating. Every request was followed up immediately, literally within minutes. Just like the other reviews noted, the location was absolutely ideal. So glad we chose this hotel!

Perfect hotel if you like to be in the middle of the action. Walking distance to plaza mayor and mercado de San Miguel (5 min). The staff is great. Ricardo received us early in the morning and we felt welcome at arrival. The street is full of small restaurants and bars. We had a great Madrid experience. We will come again and many times. This is a fantastic hotel, beautiful, luxurious and welcoming. The staff was fantastic--incredibly helpful and generous. This was our first time in Madrid (so we haven't stayed anywhere else) but this was pretty unbeatable and I cannot imagine going anywhere else when we return to the city. I've traveled pretty extensively in Europe, and stayed at some pretty upscale places in London, Paris, Frankfurt, etc., but none offered the same balance of comfort, ease, privacy and fancy.
