"The hotel was fine for our purpose: a 1 nighter close to the airport. Room was standard & properly supplied. We ate dinner in the bar/ restaurant for convenience. Again, it worked, though they only had 1 serving left of the item my wife & I wanted, so I had to choose an alternate. No idea on the breakfast. We had to leave by 6:00 a.m. & it wasn't opened yet ... not even for a continental."

"For me it's not as bas as others have said. It's a bargain priced Hostel and there is a good reason why it is so darn cheap. People seem not to have looked at photos to see what the rooms are like. Unlike other people I heard no late night noise, no banging of doors, no dodgy people staying, no smelly rooms and the staff were polite and courteous. The floors weren't the cleanest but that ensuite was spotlessly clean. There is parking outside, several restaurants around the corner and...

"It gets the job done. Especially if you are catching a flight. Location is great in that the airport is like a 10 minute drive, and there is a Mc Donalds and gas station right next door, so super convenient to "grab and go". Staff was nice and the room was fine. Although... our room did kinda smell like R. Kelly's sheets....I don't want to know why."

"Great place to stay if visiting Edinburgh. House very traditional and clean. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind, always checking to make sure you’re ok. Beds super comfy, immaculate clean bedding, had a great two nights sleep. Really busy road outside but you cannot hear a thing inside once the windows are closed. So, so peaceful. Parking outside the house also was great. We will 100% be returning. A fab restaurant around the corner too. All in all 5* for sure."

"This was the best place we have ever stayed. One of the owners of this converted bank building greeted us personally and made us feel very welcome. The room and property were top notch. The location is amazing. There is so much to see here. Literally in direct sight of the Linlithgow Palace and church. An absolute dream of a place to stay. We cannot wait to come back! We are including some great pictures of the Linen Bank Residence building from the outside, as well as one with the view...
