"Beachfront view was Beautiful. The Resturant Bartender made me a very delicious marionberry lemon drop it was very tasty but a bit pricey. Very friendly atmosphere. "

"Beautiful view from our 4th floor Oceanside room. Fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves through the screen door. Hot tub was a welcome respite after a long day, and grateful the hotel was next door to a few restaurants for an evening stroll. Breakfast is very limited (prepackaged bagels/pastry/cereal) but we supplemented with one of the free cookies handed out at checkout night before. "

"The desk clerk (Male) should not be in hospitality. The most unprofessional clerk I've had to contend with. He showed up, finally after 40 mins after check in (looked really stoned) or at least on something. There is a line outside waiting for check in. He turns up looking confused and unlocks the door. We go in and are standing around. Clerk decides to be very curt and tells a couple of us to go around the corner out of his sight as he has anxiety. I tell the fellow i went to the side with "Well thats good customer service". So I immediately get singled out and was threatened to be canceled. Now, my wife and I just drove 600 miles. She is waiting in the car for me. It's warming up and this Joke puts me too the back of the line to show his flex. He didn't even know i told everyone to go ahead of me and apologized to them. Mentioned in the one on one with him, he was military with ptsd. There is more to this story but, I'll wrap it up. At this point I was starting to get a little concerned with his threatening manner. Obviously mental. I will not be back and encourage others to not."

"From a seamless check in process (even allowing a super early check in!), to a clean room with an awesome view of the ocean, we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and provided a few hours of fun and relaxation with our kiddo. Always excited to eat at Georgie’s as you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. We will be back! "

"Rooms needed more updating, staff were absolutely fantastic, bed wasn’t great, tv was frustrating. The view on the other hand was fantastic."

"Lovely place in quiet setting with just the sound of the ocean waves to lull us to sleep. Hospitable and attentive staff. Comfortable room with expansive view to ocean. Guest rooms in different corners of the lodge to give privacy. Generous breakfast. Pathway directly to beautiful beach. Would stay again if back in Newport area. "

"It’s a shame you cannot access the beach from the resort- our dog was very sad and so was our extremely muddy sandy car after we had to drive to the beach but other that a well taken care of older condominiums"
