"The gals in the lobby were great, and very helpful, with a pleasant attitude. When we needed something they quickly helped. The parking seemed pretty good. Still plenty of space to park. The pool and hot tub seemed maintained, quite often. The sana in the ladies room never had water in the bucket for the stones. But the view is beautiful. The location is pretty good. Don't mind the sea lions talking loudly. They just have a lot to say. "

"No breakfast bar. Staff was nice. Pillows went flat fast. Bed leaned to one side so you slept at an angle"

"Hotel is very clean and staff are very gracious and helpful. We stayed in blue room and temperature management in room was a little tricky with fluctuations in temperature outside. Shower is open and very close to tub so with placement of head made for a sadly awkward shower in a beautiful space. No door to shower also made it quite cold as the bathroom is so large it didn't steam up very quickly. While the bathroom is beautiful, it was not a great shower. Bed, chairs and all else were very comfortable and great spot on the beach! "

"Super location on the beach and a wonderfully charming hotel. The rooms are individually decorated in concert with the literary theme of the hotel, which is filled with books in every nook and cranny, and furnished with comfy club chairs. I had a delightful breakfast after my complimentary cortado. It's worth a detour or a destination weekend. "

"The property is being kept up and the ADA room we were in was recently painted. The bed was comfortable. This is a very basic motel right off the main highway but it was still quiet. There was a refrigerator, TV, microwave and hairdryer. There are several fast food places and quick markets nearby plus it's only a few minutes drive to old town Newport or Nye Beach"
