"My wife and I stayed at the Kunken Lodge along our travels around the beautiful country of Costa Rica. "I stayed just one night at Cabinas upon arriving to the Osa peninsula and it was the perfect landing place to being my trip! The staff was so kind and helpful and it was great to be able to get out on the water and Kayak. The location is walking distance to town for cafes, grocery and restaurants. The price is affordable and the room was very clean and cosy! I would definitely stay again if I travel there! "

"My wife and I had an incredible stay here. The place was spacious and well appointed. We made all our meals and enjoyed while watching the moneys play in the trees above. As many others have mentioned the drive in is part of the adventure and you'll want a high clearance 4x4. The beach is a short walk away and also full of wildlife. The Kig Luis waterfall is well worth the hike. Isaac and his wife were awesome and very responsive. Love this place and Costa Rica!"

Absolutely Beautiful!

"It is a beautiful home right on the coast. We woke up to the sounds of birds and the waves crashing on the rocks. During the day we saw macaws and spider monkeys in the trees in front of the house. We had Rafa cook for us and his meals were a highlight of our vacation, however the kitchen has a modern stove and refrigerator so you could easily buy groceries in puerta jiminez and cook for yourself. There are also fans over the bed and solar powered electicity so we didn't get too hot at night. We are so thankful that we were able to experience the oso peninsula from this beautiful retreat. We loved fishing and surfing and hiking waterfalls, but coming back to this amazingly peaceful home at the end of the day to another creative, healthy meal cooked by Rafa was perfect."
