"Quite, clean, well designed small handicapped persons room. Very comfortable bed and bedding- 3 stars. Walk in handicap shower, a nice feature. No pictures in room, no big deal. Had Frig and Microwave. A Plus. Helpful Staff. Small Selection Food but Satisfactory breakfast- sausage, eggs, potatoes, waffles option. Would stay there again in the same Room if offered. Good Room Rate and Location to Stateline Casino's. Walking distance 4 blocks. Parking anywhere is Charged. One Casino- $20 for 1 to 4 hours. $25 a day for Casino Lot parking there. Low patronage at that Casino too. Not a welcoming gesture. The Area norm Cost to park daily. Great Location if attending a outdoor or indoor Music Concert. The Lake is a the approx. same distance of a walk from this Motel. "

"I loved everything about Base Camp! It’s right across from the lake, right in the heart of Tahoe City, and an easy 10 mins drive to Alpine Meadows. Rooms were spotless, quiet, and the staff fantastic. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet, safe, clean place to stay while in Tahoe. "
