"Unfortunately I stayed at the Royal Sonesta for only one night -- and it was the night a tornado hit very close by (as in across the street). Given that there was a major weather emergency for St Louis to dig out of the Royal Sonesta was AMAZING. All of the restaurants were open and busy, the staff as 100% perfect, there was a huge prom going on in one of the function rooms, and my room was beautiful and quiet when I was ready to sleep. In more bad news I didn't get to swim or go to a movie (at the beautiful theater inside the hotel!). I did get to enjoy several local shopping spots (with and without power due to the storm) and Pharaohs Donuts nearby though so I can't really complain. Overall I would be back there tomorrow with my family if I could be."

"Such a nice hotel that I thought I was in a classier city than Saint Louis. Very clean. Lively scene in the lobby area. Art art art. All looks very new and well thought out. I will recommend to family and friends when they visit."
