"Wonderful! This was my second time staying at this hotel. Stayed one time in the yellow cottage and one time in the hotel . Accommodations are spacious and clean. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The staff went above and beyond to help us with a few minor requests."

"Lovely, modern, upscale hotel. We splurged for two nights on our trip in order to stay in this area. The room was nicely decorated, and clean. The mini fridge coolness was questionable. We enjoyed the hot tubs while overlooking the meadows that lead to the ocean, a nice way to relax after a day of exploring. Breakfast was plentiful, with a European spread of yogurts, fruit, cheese, meat, eggs, bacon, cereals and breads. The hotel is a reasonable distance to the Skaftafel hike, as well as the Svinafell glacier which was fun to explore. The Mulagljufur Canyon, and glacier lagoons aren't too far in the opposite direction."
