"I had a lovely stay here. I was concerned about travelling solo to a place marketed as a romantic getaway for couples, but I didn't feel out of place as a solo traveller. The owners were very friendly and helpful, but also respectful of privacy. The house has so much charm; you just can't get that level of uniqueness or service from a hotel. The breakfast was also very good, and multiple time options were given so you could choose when worked best for you to have breakfast, which was very appreciated. The location was perfect too; safe and quiet but easy to access everything to explore. I would definitely stay here again!"

"This is a beautiful property with charm and history. Staying for 3 nights was enough for the staff to know who I was and what room I was in, and my introverted nature was ok :-) I loved being so close to the Dallas Road waterfront trail and Beacon Hill park (with some peacock serenades!). And the breakfasts were delicious (my fav was the egg scramble with sausage, bacon & cheese!)."
