"The Cridford Inn is a wonderful, very old, country inn with a thatched roof, flagstones, dark oak everywhere....dripping with character. It's a little off the beaten track but worth the effort. Unfortunately we hadn't reserved a table for dinner so had to be squeezed in at the end of evening service, but the food was excellent and worth the wait. The same applied to breakfast....we hadn't booked a breakfast slot and so were put at the back of the queue. We must have missed something that told us...

"Was greeted in the car park and taken to my room, shown where breakfast was and the guest lounge. Alison was very friendly and very helpful with directions, not sure I would have made it to my destination without them! Area is quiet, room was cool which was great in this heat, bed was comfy, and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend!"

"Beds are comfortable and there are tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of hot water. Car parking is easy. They provide a fan which was useful as the traffic is a bit noisy to have the window open. Curtains are very thin so the room is light from early morning. They don’t offer a cooked breakfast on Wednesday or Thursday mornings but there is a continental choice of toast, pastries, cereal and yoghurt. "I enjoyed my stay and overall I rate it good. The service was a little slow at times perhaps because it was at full capacity owing to the good weather. And the salt and pepper shakers were very sticky and I doubt had ever been cleaned. Nonetheless I would stay here again. "
