"Pool was bice but rooms definitly needed an upgrade. No fan vent in bathrooms so the paint was peeling and door was starting to rot. Understaffed, but staff that was there was very friendly. Breakfast was okay for hotel breakfast."

"The room that I was in had a smell to it, black mold in the bathroom and the sofa bed has no blankets. The inside wave pool had bugs in the water and the sauna was cloudy. The property use to be nice little get away. Now it’s unsafe!! I want be going back.. the beds were hard as well.. it’s over priced.."

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Resort at Governor’s Crossing! The location was perfect—close to everything yet still peaceful and relaxing. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Our suite was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a true home away from home. The water parks were a huge highlight—both were clean, fun, and perfect for all ages. What really stood out was how much the resort offered for kids. There were activities scheduled from sun up to sun down, which kept them entertained the entire time. We also visited during Easter, and the holiday activities were beyond amazing—thoughtfully planned and so much fun for the whole family. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun, relaxing getaway."

"Everything about this hotel is wonderful!! From the fresh delicious breakfast to the clean and well appointed rooms and friendly staff! You will not be disappointed. The breakfast was a big surprise! Fresh scrambled eggs, great breakfast meats, pancakes were fluffy and delicious and many juices and breads, muffins etc to choose from. Can truly say was one of the best from many other hotels “free breakfasts” that we’ve had. "

"Place was under Reno but was an absolute mess. Room smelled off, floor felt slightly damp everywhere. Pictures are completely unlike reality. River area was trashy "

"Pool area smelt strong of mildew to the point we didnt use it and that was one of the reasons we stayed here hotel is showing age and could use updating beds were comfortable and eveything was clean enough for me the mildew smell was the worst"

"Men’s dirty Hanes underwear right below our balcony on roof of exterior restaurant/bar upon check-in at 4 pm. A great view for my 7 year old’s birthday room. Vomit in lagoon basketball hot tub pool and no one evacuated pool. Poop in wave pool, was cleaned, and only evacuated for 30 minutes. The staff is extremely friendly and they all need raises. "
