"Overall, we felt like this place was cute, but overrated. It is an old property and the walls are paper thin. Not a big deal if you know it going into it, but it's like being in an old motel that has been re-done. Because it is. The restaurant staff (host and bartender) were LOVELY, but the drinks were laughable. The mixed drinks were as expensive as craft cocktails, but I honestly felt like I was back in college with the quality and presentation of the liquor drinks. Think blue dye, etc. It wasn't a bad place, just not what we thought we'd be getting for the money and next trip we will try someplace else."

"This hotel has a lot of classic charm, atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. Maybe I wasn’t in the right mindset for the place but my room was small and not very functional. They do a lot of things right but the tiny room thing was very frustrating. If you stay here get one of the bigger rooms and you’ll have a great stay. "

"Outside of the property and lobby area are well maintained however, when i let my 9 month old daughter crawl around our room for at most two minutes, her socks and knees were black (not grey, black). The coffee in the lobby is HORRIBLE and I'm no coffee snob, but it was bad. Otherwise not a bad two night stay."

"The Sunset Motel is a charming old style motor Lodge in downtown Brevard. The amenities are basic, consistent with the age of the facility. Our room was renovated and very clean. We did have an issue with noise in the mornings because our room was next to the housekeeping staff."

"Hotel has a huge lobby. We stayed 2 night. We borrowed a deck of cards from the front desk to play. Front desk staff was friendly and personable. Fire pit was broken so that was a bummer."
