"What a great property! This property was right in the heart of downtown Highlands. We were above the Highland Tavern, which at first I was worried about noise, but the insulation blocked most of the noise and the bathroom fan covered up the rest. Plus, the tavern shuts down early so it was a non-issue. We had rain showers and this property was so convenient because we could pop in and out to avoid the showers. The place was clean and perfect layout. The host was very nice and had snacks and drinks available in fridge for us for the weekend. We could not have asked for anything more and hope to return soon."

"What a great spot. We felt the vibes right away as we pulled up and were greeted by Alex who was at the front desk. We loved the communal atmosphere and had some great conversations with other folks staying there on the common room. The bed was comfy and the room was awesome. We loved that it was a little off the main drag, but close enough to walk. I’m definitely going to recommend to others. Thanks y’all! "

"The location is great to Main st and Falls. The house is very nice, clean and cozy. Cross street has a nice restaurant which add on for the long journey travelers. Two minutes has barbecue restaurant. We have a wedding at old Edwards farm, only 7 minutes away. highly recommended. Will go back to the house for vacation. "The cabin was wonderful escape from the heat and humidity of Myrtle Beach! The cabin was cozy and comfortable and the location was perfect - situated in between the towns of Highlands and Franklin. Dry Falls and Bridal Veil Falls were close and accessible. We tried to hike down to the falls on the property, but it was a little too difficult for us (three senior ladies)! We enjoyed shopping and antiquing in the area and we found some great places for dinner. The cabin was well-equipped, with everything you might need. The beds were comfortable, plenty of places to gather and plenty of places to find solitude. This would be an amazing place for families with children, with lots of places to explore around the cabin. The kids (and adults) won't even miss their electronic devices (cell service is sketchy) - a great opportunity to unplug and just enjoy the beauty of nature!I would make one small suggestion: If you plan to gather at the large table in the living room area to play cards, color, crochet or do any crafts that require good lighting, I would bring along a lamp of some type to supplement the lighting in the room. Overall, we LOVED it and were sad to leave after our 3-night stay. We hope to return some day!"
