"Clearly the location is terrific. The views of the Tower of London and of the Tower Bridge are exciting and the hotel maximizes them. The staff was helpful and courteous. Our frustration was on our first night when we could not rouse room service. We tried repeatedly for an hour. No one answered. Called 0. No one answered. We ended up going to Tesco to get food to heat in the oven in our suite. But the oven/stove did not work. We went to the front desk to ask for help. We were told someone would come up to our room. No one came. Tired from a day of travel, we ate a side salad and went to bed. We called again the next morning. Someone came up and fixed the problem. (It wasn’t that we couldn’t operated the light switches!)."

"Excellent overall but one of three elevators was out of service for our entire stay. Many of us just carried our luggage down several flights of stairs on checkout day because the wait for an open elevator was too long. Everything else was five stars. "

"Great location - near shopping, Hyde park and Marble Arch. Close to public transportation and there were black cabs at the door almost every time we left. Nice room for the 3 of us we had Executive suite. Staff was wonderful."
