Perfect for an overnight when you have an early flight the next morning! Bar is good but eat your main meal in city centre. I’m a female solo traveler and felt very safe here.

We had one night here in preparation for an early flight. It took us 12 minutes to walk from the hotel to the airport check in - though everyone kept overtaking us and I suspect most people took about 5 minutes. The staff at reception who booked is in and out were lovely and helpful. The girl who booked us in was very kind helping me with some issues with apps on my phone. The room was very clean and with all facilities that we required. Very comfortable bed. Fun quirky decorative features...

Very convenient and comfortable

Ellie, the receptionist, was AMAZING. We arrived at the hotel exhausted and frustrated due to getting lost and other reasons not involving the hotel. I was not very nice when we arrived and irritated about not finding the parking lot. Lovey, kind, and helpful Ellie took care of us. She went above and beyond to comfort us and make us comfortable. She even exited the hotel and personally took me to the parking lot!!! God bless you Ellie for a wonderful stay.

When we arrived near the end of time the kitchen was open, they arranged for our bags to be brought to our room and brought us directly to a table in the bar so we got to order in time. The concierge ordered a taxi for our early morning departure the next day and was very helpful. Everyone we met was nice. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Wish we stayed here longer.

Everything was great! Room was clean and comfortable. Bus station from airport and to city center just in front of hotel! Great morning buffet and dinner was good!

Staff was very helpful with information on best ways to get around Edinburgh. Very clean and parking was easy.

Check in was smooth. No lift but successful in lugging 30+kg. suitcase up & down 3 flights of stairs. Room was impeccably clean. Room safe was difficult to access due to its position on floor of closet and tendency to entrap tiny objects in door which forced me to call for help. Batteries were dead in safe but replaced after 1 day's wait. Shower and tub excellent. Wonderful array of amenities. Hotel has stopped supplying slippers. Miss them. Great location great service. The airport shuttle is not everyday

Stayed for only one night due to a very early flight the next morning. My kids loved the bunk beds, and the room was very spacious. The bus stop is very close to the hotel and kids enjoyed the double decker bus experience to downtown Edinburgh. Plenty of free parking available at the hotel. Staff was friendly. Would recommend!

Everything I could have hoped for and more. Perfect location, beautiful room, extra friendly staff, clean and quiet. LOVED our stay here.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in the UK (and I've been staying at quite a few 5 star hotels). The staff was professional, friendly, and accomodating. They def pay attention to details and ensure we have the best experience. Even provided me some of the best local recs and I was quite impressed (and this is coming from a foodie like me)

We stayed at The Raeburn for one night on a recent trip to Edinburgh but wish we could have stayed a few more! The room was huge with lovely woodwork and a marble bathroom (the fixtures were top-notch with a huge tub, huge shower, double sink, and towel warmer). Our king-sized bed was very comfortable and there was also a large flat-screen TV. The elevator made it easy to get to our room and there was parking on-site. The staff was friendly and helpful. Amazing, quaint hotel that also still serves as the Royal Scots Club. Located in a more quiet part of New Town, yet only a few blocks away from St. Andrews Square, Princes Street & Stockbridge. Hotel atmosphere might be a bit too settled for families with small children or younger partygoers & clubberers, everyone else who is looking for a nice and quiet retreat from the hectic and tourist filled city and a friendly, personal staff should not get disappointed.
