"Hotel Villa Real is definitely very beautiful. One of my favorite rooms! The hotel property itself is on an interesting area; there was a commotion like a protest or something going on every morning lol. But I loved that it was a close walk to the Prado Museum and public transport. Breakfast was… okay. Not many choices but it was modest. I had a balcony and I appreciated the views of the front snd especially the sunsets. Checking in and checking out was very easy. "

The opening and closing of the guest door next to your room can be heard clearly, including drawing of the curtain, etc. These sounds were so clear and close that could give you a fright even when you were already asleep.
