" The staff was very friendly and very helpful with helping us acquire taxis to and from the hotel, and from our restaurants and then return very personalized attention. Our room was very modern remodeled, upgraded the view from our balcony was spectacular the pool area. The grotto to the pool and to the beach was beyond belief.. The views for a late night or early drink before dinner with spectacular of the mountain the water. Additionally is the same view that you receive for breakfast every morning. "

Also TVs were small for room size and the streaming services didn’t really work effectively because of limitations of the WiFi system. "This room was a great size and the separate shower/ toilet to sink area and large wardrobe room was great when you have four people sharing. The room had plenty of space and the balcony and seabird were great. We found the breakfast quality to be good and varied and loved the pool ( big enough to swim in properly and not too busy). Yes the hotel is down or up a steep drive depending which way you approach and driving through Taormina isn’t easy ( narrow streets and people everywhere) but the town is beautiful and the hotel was in a great location - easy walk to restaurants. We did a road trip around Sicily and this was one of our favourites in terms of location, room, view, food and pool."
