"A hidden gem in Cape Town! We only stayed 2 nights but it was more than enough to recommend this place to others. The guest house is located very conveniently from both the V&A and the stadium. "The property was an electrical hazard. It was not clean and we had no hot water due to a leaking tap. We were made aware of the leak an hour before we booked in and they said it would be fixed the next day. What they did not tell us was that we would have no hot water and the leak was so bad that we had to use towels to stop the bathroom floor flooding. We moved out after one night. "My family of three had a great stay at Avatara. Our bed was large and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and filling, and all staff were kind and great with our toddler. The airport transfer Avatara arranged for us was easy and the driver was so wonderful. Additionally, communication with the owner before our stay was prompt, kind, and clear. This was our first trip to Cape Town and the Green Point neighborhood is safe with plenty to do and great places to eat. We recommend Avatara 100%!"
