"Amazing home nestled atop a mountain. Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean from all rooms! Definitely want a 4 wheel drive vehicle to make it up the steep drive but it's worth it. Close to restaurants in dominical and many attractions are within a 30 min - 45 min drive from the home."

Beautiful views and property

"Such a beautiful property, with views from every window! Oscar was very attentive and so welcoming, checking in with us often. We found the home clean and very comfortable for our family, 4 adults, 3 kids. The drive up is a bit steep, so recommend 4 wheel drive, but it’s well worth it for the views and oasis up the hill that awaits! Highly recommend!"

Best Family Vacation

"There were 11 of us. We loved the house and Rambo our concierge and chef. Rambo knew everything about the area including contacts with the different excursions near VDF. Without him, we would have struggled to know where to go, where to park if we had gotten our own van, etc. Whether we were out and about or stayed at the house, we loved every minute!"

One of a kind

"We spent 2 nights at Lapazul and wish we had spent a couple more! This hotel is a unique paradise, offering incredibly stunning views, excellent service, and delectable food- truly one of a kind. Nestled on top of a hill, it’s a relatively new boutique hotel with fewer than a dozen rooms and 2 infinity pools. The hotel is conveniently located near beautiful beaches, Manuel Antonio Park, and the charming town of Dominical. Accessing the hotel requires a 4x4 or AWD due to the mountainous terrain, but the journey is absolutely worthwhile. It’s the staff at Lapazul that take your experience to the next level. Adriana had an infectious smile and showed us around the property. She also looked into a horse riding tour for us, but we didn’t end up taking one because we wanted to spend more time on the beautiful property. George and Giovanni took great care of us when it came to food and drinks. George made sure we had a packed breakfast ready to go for an early morning excursion. Gio made excellent cocktails and wine recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with them that allowed us to learn more about the property and the local Costa Rican culture. We will be promoting this unique property within our friend circle and will be back! "

Gorgeous Villa with Breathtaking Ocean Views

A place of pure tranquillity

"We absolutely fell in love with this serene villa with a wonderful view of the sea. It is so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the sun sinking into the pacific, toucans and birds of prey flying overhead. We chose this villa for our elopement wedding ceremony and it exceeded our expectations for a special location and a perfect day. Everyone was so helpful with everything we needed including the concierge and on-site caretaker. Everything that we organised went smoothly. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped with lots of space as well as being private and surrounded by nature. There is a small problem with the pool meaning it isn't an infinity pool right now but it's still perfectly usable and didn't spoil our enjoyment in any way. I would 100% recommend this villa a truly special place that will stay in our hearts forever. Thanks!!"
