It made sense for the hotel to do this for the rooms that are not in preferred view locations.. in all, for the price especially, it was a beautiful resort."

"Honestly, this is not a jab at the owner of the resort, as much as it is about the resort itself. First, the the GOOD: The landscaping is gorgeous. The pool is beautiful. The staff are kind. The owner left beach towels out for us. The BAD: The pools are gorgeous, but no one was in them because they were too cold (may not be an issue in hotter weather). The Jacuzzis are nice, but too small for the amount of people trying to squeeze into them, and the temperature is somewhat scolding. My guess...

"You can’t use any of the amenities of the property (like BBQ’s) since those are reserved for hotel guests. Also, found out that the microwave is on the 5th floor and is communal. No shuffle board to be found. The room has a weird smell, too."

Resort clean and nice close to Lihue Airport, close to POIPU beach, Shiva Temple, Lydgate Beach etc. only our booking through Expedia ( 3rd party) reservation hotel says we are not getting room service. There is no water bottles in the room."
