"I enjoyed my stay at the Solaris hotel even though it was short. The location is great and very walkable to restaurants, shops and a mall. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Susan provided a great summary and useful information upon arrival. The staff was able to help me contact a tour operator that was running late. The roof top is very cute and perfect for an evening drink. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety. "

"This place within 100meters of atleast 2 Michelin (food) recommended places. Also the softest beds we have found in South East Asia! The service of the hotel amazing. We arrived very late (after our original other hotel booking was a disaster, had to find a place very late at night). Ms Hang took us happily in, guided us where to get this good food at such late hour, gave an amazing, tidy, Western standards room. The downside is breakfast is shared with another hotel, their buffet not great, but one can always order a fresh omelette or noodles, not eat the buffet. Or there are many street cafes. Located on a side street so not very noisy (all of Hanoi is noisy). We booked 1 night, but actually stayed 2. "

"The hotel is in a great location. The staff were courtesy, honest, and professional. The room and beds were comfortable. We had the breakfast in oir package. There was a bid selection to choose from. I like the bottle water in the room. I would stay here again when back in Hanoi "

"La Siesta was one of the best hotels that we stayed in during our 2 week trip to Asia. The location in the Old Quarter was fantastic and the service was incredible. They will sit you down and review a map of Hanoi with you, then proceed to walk you to your room. You see the same familiar faces at the front desk each day, and they remember you! The front desk staff are also extremely familiar with the Old Quarter and have yummy food recommendations. They will recommend the hole in the wall restaurants that are busy with locals that you want to go to! We didn't have a window in our room, but that was okay as we weren't in the room that often. Breakfast buffet is included and Vietnamese options could be improved such as more toppings for the chao and perhaps banh cuon. If a pool is important to you (it was not to us), then there isn't one at this hotel. There is an extremely nice roof top bar that we visited during our trip. "
