"Was fine, room was not brilliant, but good. Bar/restaurant was good. Just wish we had been told that the annex we were in was more or less empty, as we put the car in the large car park, to walk across the road to find one car in the car park, and am it was raining. But would recommend."

"Our overnight stay at The Portland guest house went very well. We managed to park close by and the check-in process was very speedy. Unfortunately, though, I hadn't taken into consideration that, being a town house, there would be a lot of stairs with an open balustrade which was an issue for my partner who suffers from a form of vertigo but, after explaining the situation to Rachel, Sian dealt with it quickly by putting us in a room on a lower floor.
