"Overall this is a good hotel.The staff are very nice and helpful,you can have a laugh and joke with them.breakfast was good,rooms clean and tidy. Car parking is good, yes it does need a little bit of paint in places,but otherwise it is okay"

"Lovely compact apartment, very clean. Great location to spend a couple of nights in the centre of a beautiful village. Kitchenette very small not the place to cook meals but great for breakfast. Very convenient to have a parking space. Would stay again in future."

"Everything was really good , the only issue was the weather was very hot, there’s no air conditioning. It’s not something you consider when staying in England normally. But there were two fans in the room. It’s a beautiful old building with lots of charm."

"We booked a room in this hotel today to an event which was down the road. It was very convenient for that event. We were able to get a taxi to and from the event from the hotel when we bought our room with friends you’d also put there we booked a Lakeview room and three days before we were due to arrive we would advise that our room have been double booked and there wasn’t a room for us. They did put us in the Airbnb flat next door had issues entering that flat several times opening the door and coming out of the door one evening we went to reception and got a very let’s put it this way not a very nice guy on reception who was very helpful made out that we were stupid and we just couldn’t open the door the flat was amazing. It was massive had its own dining room room small so very warm with the heat wave. We also mentioned that the shower temperature dropped from hot to cold instantly in the flat when we reported this to reception again, we were basically told that it must be our operating issues. Not a sorry about that. We’re looking into it when we return from our event we couldn’t get into the flat again we there was nobody on reception we had to go to an event wedding that was in the area to try and find a manager to help us out again very attitude and rude there is an event that we go to every year so we would like to come back to here hopefully in one of the Lakeview rooms that we originally booked the ladies on reception that did contact Me did sort me out an alterna"

"We enjoyed a four night midweek stay at this beautiful property. The decor is truly stunning throughout the hotel , the restaurant excellent and staff attentive and helpful. The grounds are extensive and beautiful and the hotel is situated in a very rural area with plenty of interesting places to visit within easy driving distance. The dark night skies make for excellent star gazing!"

"An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you"
