"We had a fantastic stay in Louise's gorgeous cottage. Beautifully decorated, luxury bedding, comfy beds and just 5 mins from centre of York. Check in was easy and Louise allowed us a later checkout which tied in nicely with our train home. Communication was prompt, the cottage was immaculate when we arrived and fully equipped, and the village of Burythorpe was beautiful! Highly recommend popping into the pub across the street as it was lovely. Gemma also provided several great recommendations in the guest book and we are sad that we couldn’t get to everything in our weekend stay! Would definitely come back, thanks Gemma!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. "
