Everything was provided - towels, shampoo, shower gel, bread, butter, milk etc. couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely stay again. "I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). The decor is very worn with signs of damage. The carpets are stained. The external area was very overgrown with weeds. The TV remote didn't work and there was no TV ariel connected. "A lovely little stay in the Cambridgeshire countryside. It's pretty basic but once you've got the heater going, it's lovely. A beautiful lake to look out onto with parking next to you, it's pretty decent. "

"Our recent stay at Rosemead Lodge was just perfect. An idyllic oasis, hidden away amongst the Cambridgeshire countryside, just a few minutes’ walk from the delightful village of Bourn. The Lodge is situated in the grounds of the owner’s home, in an extremely picturesque setting. "We are in our early 60’s and stayed for 4 nights at the end of May 2024. Great central location, out of the door and into the massive park, brilliant for dogs. This is a very old building, quaint inside, nicely updated to fit in well with the property’s age. Bedroom is big and comfy, loved the green leather seat looking out of the window. The bath / shower are a bit of an adventure, looks great but we could not live with it if we were living there all the time. Word of warning, 100% not suitable...
