"We arrived at the hotel & a warm welcome. Everyone was friendly & accommodating. We were especially happy with there knowledge of gluten free foods. The food was in a word Fantastic & plenty choices! A lovely place to stay with a walkin shower & nice seated area to enjoy the sun. "This is a very pleasant hotel, ideally situated for those arriving in Skipton by train. It's virtually the first thing you see when leaving the station. It's a ten minute stroll into the town centre, past a former cotton mill, and there's an alternative route via the attractive canal towpath, easily accessible from the rear of the hotel. My room was a single, very comfortable with an en suite shower, with a Juliet balcony overlooking the canal. Breakfast was good and all staff were pleasant and attentive.I didn't use the restaurant but I'm sure that's a good option if you don't want to walk into town in the evening. "

"We stayed for 2 nights, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel doesn't have a car park but the young lady on reception told us what to do, she let us leave our bags in reception and gave us directions to the local cricket club just around the corner ( 2 min walk) there is an honesty box at the cricket club for the parking fee. The breakfast was lovely, there is a wide range of choices from hot or cold. We would strongly recommend staying at this hotel and we will definitely be staying there again ourselves."

"We would not have been able to access the property if it weren’t for the help of other guests. The owners failed to tell us the entrance code. In addition there was no prior warning that the en suite was outside our room (room 6)."
