"The house is large and nicely decorated and reasonably well equipped especially for larger family groups. We struggled a little as a lot of larger dishes and we were only two. Also heavy hinting on vegetarian meals with only veggie cookbooks in kitchen ? Felt a bit pointed. We found it cold although upstairs timing for heating was dealt with quickly on us contacting the appointed person although no return contact from text. The lodge is just 10 minutes away from Skipton centre and 20 minutes away from Bolton Abbey, which we had a lovely walk around. Sitting in the hot tub with the starry sky and the hilly views topped the stay off. One of the top lodges I’ve ever stayed in. "
