"Clean room (6) although "compact" staff excellent, breakfast good choice "

"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Parking was easy. We were able to walk into town along the canal which runs along the rear of the hotel in 5- 10 minutes. Very enjoyable stay."

"Clean room, lovely bar, nice range of drinks. Nice sunday dinner, great atmosphere, log fire bar. Breakfast was the usual cereals etc, bacon, toast, sausage was Richmond (not my preferred). Nice fresh croissants and goot drink selection I have stayed before and will stay again due to price, location, lovely romantic stay"

"Checkin was horrendous. First room was unmade, there was bedlinen lining the corridors & numerous guests were irritated that their room was not ready. Checkin is at 4 but my room was not ready until. The bed was very uncomfortable & the room was cold (with a pathetic small oil heater to try & heat it). "
