Great location and super clean and comfy. No elevator makes getting luggage up to your room a little difficult but we managed. Tea and cookies in the room was a nice treat. Would stay again!

Adored my time here! My room was lovely and cozy, I wish I would have stayed longer. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was amazing!

Lovely property!

I LOVED the horses outside my window each morning. The staff was very kind.

Lovely

Great stay! It is a renovated Castle in the middle of Yorkshire.

Tranquil place to unwind and just relax. Staff was amazing and rooms very clean and cosy. Breakfast was top notch.

It is impossible to overstate the standard of the Wensleydale Heifer. The awards affirm the restaurant quality and the standard of accommodation. What they do not evidence is the attention to detail that every member of staff personifies. This is the first opportunity we have had to stay at the Heifer, although we have eaten here before. Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel. Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to. Room attended to daily. The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs.

Exactly what we were hoping for. A very quaint pub and inn. Lots of character and the perfect location.

We just stayed four nights at this hotel. We enjoyed the location of the property—not to far from Leyburn, Hawes, or Grassington. Good location for short and long walks or hikes. You can walk to the falls from the hotel, and there are footpaths if you want to walk to all three falls. That was fun. Just a quick drive to visit Bolton Castle—worth the visit. We enjoyed the breakfasts—nice selection of pastries, cereals and fruit. And, the selection of hot items on the breakfast menu was...

Location just off the market square and ideally located. An old inn with unique rooms that met all modern requirements. The pub and bar scene obviously very popular and friendly.
